connecting

Coaching as an intervention in leadership development offers many opportunities on both individual and organisational level to address important issues and to connect them. All too often we see in leadership coaching and executive training that providers of those only raise the visible and obvious issues. Thus the hidden dynamics, which influence both interpersonal and team dynamics, are overlooked. The result is that change initiatives focus on a 'quick fix'. But real, lasting change and continuity will not occur if the more unconscious dynamics that lay below the surface are ignored.

I work on interventions with individual executives or managers (and if so desired: their teams) that go beyond the 'quick fix'. And because I want to ensure the continuity of on-going initiatives in organisations, my approach within organisations is based on the psychodynamic, developmental perspective. It is applied with a special attention to the themes of the individual executive or manager in the context of the organisation.
