CORNELIE DE JONG

Cornelie has been working as an executive coach and consultant at AppleTree Executive Coaching since 2007. Before Cornelie moved fulltime into coaching and consulting, she held management and leadership positions at a.o. ELLE magazine, Arthur D. Little, insurance companies Interpolis and Achmea. In 2007 she quit her job to study photography (documentary and portrait) at the Photo Academy, from which she graduated in 2010. Around the same time she started her own company in consulting and executive coaching for individual clients, groups and teams. In her work as a coach she integrates her business experience with her academic and psychological background and helps her clients with their organisational and leadership challenges.

Current activities

Cornelie is specialised in themes around leadership, change and (personal) development in large and/or complex organisations. She delves from her broad (international) experience in working with leaders, executives and professionals. She combines her coaching expertise and corporate background to help executives achieve professional and personal success and effectiveness. Her style is engaging, empathetic, associative and results-oriented.

Among her clients are the Radboud University Medical Centre, University Medical Centre Utrecht, Karolinska University Hospital (Stockholm), TIAS Business School, Erasmus Medical Centre, Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), FMO Bank, ATKearney, Brabantia, ENZA, Univé, Heliomare and more. She also works in association with the Kets de Vries Institute (KDVI) and Phyleon

Degrees and registrations

Cornelie holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. In 2010 she graduated in documentary and portrait photography from the Photo Academy in Amsterdam. She has a diploma in clinical organisational psychology (cum laude) and an Executive Master’s Degree in Consulting and Coaching for Change (clinical organisational psychology) at INSEAD in Fontainebleau.

She lives in Rotterdam with her husband and dog. Besides her work she loves to travel, whenever possible, with their three adult children. Furthermore, she enjoys being outdoors, cooking and food.
